Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants is scheduled to launch Kimpton Karma Rewards. This is a new loyalty program designed to recognize guests for:
- attending select hotel's nightly wine hour
- traveling with pets
- dining at Kimpton restaurants
- and mentioning Kimpton hotels or restaurants on social media platforms
Marriott is also jumping on the social wagon with their PlusPoints which will allow for the Marriot members to earn Rewards points for "everyday social behaviors" like posts on Instagram, Twitter tweets, retweets and even checking in on Facebook.
