Planning a wedding can be challenging, but by keeping your priorities in check, setting a budget, and following help guide of tips and tricks, you can create a magical event that reflects you and your partner.
Congratulations on your engagement! One of the most exciting moments in organizing a wedding is creating the vision you have for the big day. However, it is important to approach the planning process methodically, particularly if you are the one responsible for organizing the day. If you find yourself unsure, this article will offer a step-by-step guide on how to plan your own wedding.
Set a Budget Before you do anything else, sit down and come up with a budget. Decide how much you can afford to spend and communicate with your partner about what is most significant and vital for you to have during your wedding. Discussing this aspect of the wedding early on can help prevent overspending on one area and ensure that your wedding day is still within reach.
Create a to-do list Building a to-do list is essential to staying on track with the wedding planning process. It can be overwhelming to try and keep track of everything you need to do, so begin by writing a comprehensive list of all the requirements you would like to accomplish before the wedding day.
Venue selection Finding the right venue for your wedding is critical, and it's not a decision you should take lightly. When choosing a venue, consider the number of guests you are inviting, your budget, and if the venue can accommodate all your needs for the day. With such considerations in mind, you'll find the right venue that offers the perfect backdrop to your wedding.
Here are some of our favorite local venues where Butter Be Mine is located:
Sydalyn Hill we recently visited this wedding venue in Felton, Calif. and this venue is so cute and the staff are very friendly. The hired services that were present during the wedding that I attended was pretty bad, i.e. the bar and its attendees and the wedding DJ was horrid and botched the entire audio for the ceremony. Be careful who you select for your services.
Felton Guild, located in Felton, Calif. off of Highway 9 between downtown Felton and Santa Cruz. Great easy to find location and this venue has been around for a long time. Get married in the Redwood grove.
Make it personal Your wedding day is a special day that you will look back on for many years, so make it personal. Add personal touches to your wedding to remind guests what they mean to you in your lives. You can celebrate the love you share with your partner through personalized vows, table names, or wedding favors. Make it a day that is as unique as you two.
Invitations Finally, choose a beautiful wedding invitation suite that speaks to your desired aesthetic for the wedding day. An invite should let your guests know when and where you're getting married, and providing some additional information on the wedding day like attire, event signs, accommodations, and more.
Planning a wedding can be challenging, but by keeping your priorities in check, setting a budget, and following help guide of tips and tricks, you can create a magical event that reflects you and your partner. Always remember to follow your instincts, make sure you stay organized, and enjoy the experience. All the best in planning your big day!
